September Special - visit the Circuit des Remparts at Angouleme Every September the streets of the ancient hill-top town of Angouleme are taken over by hundreds of classic cars.  A Concours d'Elegance starts the proceedings on Friday evening, on Saturday many of the cars parade through the surrounding countryside and on Sunday they race on a circuit around the town's old ramparts - a sight not to be missed whether you're a car enthusiast or just interested in the spectacle. Angouleme is only about an hour from La Petite Gravelle. The Circuit des Remparts starts on Friday 14th September 2012 - your holiday commences on the previous Saturday 8th September and is extended over the weekend of the event to the following Tuesday 18 September at no extra cost.
